CDL-A Delivery Driver
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a CDL Delivery Driver for a company based in Fredericksburg, VA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to primarily be responsible for delivering various materials and be home every night. As always, safety is most important.

Pay Rate
$20 to $23 an hour, DOE
CDL-A Delivery Driver Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 6:30 AM – 3 PM

CDL-A Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities
- Drives truck to destination providing accurate, timely, courteous service to customer shops or job sites.
- Secures load using runners, boards, ratchet straps, chains, binders around items to secure cargo during transit.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials in accordance with safety guidelines
- Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed which includes receiving, verifying, and checking delivered material, restocking, picking orders, palletizing orders, staging orders, loading trucks, unloading trucks, operating sit down and standup forklifts, WMS RF scanning device and normal housekeeping duties.
CDL-A Delivery Driver Qualifications and Requirements
- MUST have a current CDL Driver’s license with good driving record
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen (THC included), MVR and criminal background
- Ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and vibration. Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to a warehouse space that is not controlled by climate.
