Role Overview
The Warehouse Associate I supports cold chain logistics operations, packaging preparation, inventory management, and shipment processing. This role is critical in ensuring temperature-sensitive products are handled, stored, and shipped in compliance with strict quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble ready-to-use packaging systems for shipment pickups
- Manage cold chain logistics across all temperature ranges
- Prepare and create shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments
- Maintain inventory of packaging materials and components
- Handle gel pack and temperature-controlled packaging inventory
- Refurbish and prepare reusable packaging systems
- Safely handle dry ice and temperature-controlled materials
- Issue airway bills for shipments and return packaging assets
- Complete GxP-compliant documentation logs
- Use internal systems (WorldStar, Opstar) for shipping and inventory processes
- Manage TempTale devices and temperature monitoring procedures
- Identify shipping documentation requirements and ensure compliance
- Coordinate with locations to schedule pickup of packaging and temperature monitors
- Support replenishment of temperature-sensitive shipment materials
- Operate forklift (certification preferred but not required)
Must-Have Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently
- Strong customer service and phone communication skills
- Ability to coordinate pickups with multiple locations via phone
- Willingness to obtain STA number onsite on Day 1
- Must be available for in-person interview with hiring manager
Preferred Skills
- Experience in warehouse or logistics environments
- Familiarity with cold chain or temperature-controlled shipping
- Exposure to GxP or regulated environments
- Forklift experience (certification a plus)
- Basic understanding of inventory and shipping systems
