Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and facility operations. This role is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and improving production-related mechanical and electrical systems while ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of maintenance technician or industrial maintenance experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on technical experience preferred
- Advanced troubleshooting experience with PLCs
- Ability to read and interpret control wiring diagrams for troubleshooting equipment failures
- Experience rebuilding and repairing pumps
Preferred Qualifications
- Fabrication skills
- Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
- Strong mechanical maintenance background
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, replace, and maintain mechanical systems and associated equipment including:
- Air compressors
- Air dryers
- Dehumidifiers
- Cooling towers
- Pumps and related systems
- Follow detailed work instructions, technical drawings, and equipment specifications
- Administer preventive maintenance schedules and maintain maintenance documentation/reports
- Identify PM requirements for new equipment installations
- Train equipment operators on basic maintenance and equipment care
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow PPE/safety requirements
- Support facility operations and maintenance needs as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical equipment
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documents
- Experience troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing repairs
- Forklift and powered industrial equipment experience preferred
- Strong teamwork and adaptability in changing production environments
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
Work Schedule Flexibility
- Must be available for overtime as needed
- Occasional nights, weekends, or schedule changes may be required based on business needs
