- Assessing patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery
- Monitoring vital signs, consciousness, and recovery progress
- Administering medications and treatments per post-anesthesia protocols
- Ensuring patient safety, comfort, and documentation of care
- Responding to emergencies and collaborating with the surgical team
- Providing patient and family education on recovery and discharge
- Operating PACU equipment and participating in handoff communications
- One year of recent PACU RN experience
- Valid RN license and current BLS/ACLS certifications
- Preferred: PALS or ENPC certifications
- Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC skills
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain focus, and adapt to irregular activity
