Key Responsibilities
- Scan, file, and organize medical records with high accuracy.
- Safeguard patient information and ensure compliance with confidentiality laws.
- Retrieve records efficiently, process release requests, and document disclosures.
- Assist with daily departmental operations and provide coverage as needed.
- Operate office equipment including computers, scanners, and fax machines.
- High school diploma or GED; additional education or experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Word, Excel, and EMR systems.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of healthcare record management and privacy regulations preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, operate office equipment, and sit or stand for extended periods.
- Requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Position involves in-person attendance, primarily Monday through Friday during business hours.
- Compensation is approximately $16.77 per hour.
- Background checks, licensing, and drug screening are part of the hiring process.
