- Attend all curriculum classes, participate in professional development, and complete clinical competencies.
- Assist in managing patient care by collecting data, communicating with RNs, and performing treatments in accordance with standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning, make referrals, and advocate for patient rights.
- Document patient care accurately, recognize potential problems, and escalate issues as needed.
- Incorporate cost-effective practices, engage in quality improvement activities, and adjust staffing based on patient needs.
- Follow policies on licensure, infection control, confidentiality, and safety, and perform assigned duties.
- Completion of an approved LPN program or recognized equivalency.
- Current LPN license, with no more than 12 months of experience.
- Ability to adhere to organizational policies and demonstrate a foundational understanding of patient care.
