The Partnership & Suite Services Intern plays a key role in supporting the Corporate Partnerships and Premium Services departments in delivering a first-class experience for corporate partners, suite holders, and premium guests. This role is ideal for an individual seeking hands-on experience in relationship management, client servicing, event execution, and sports business operations within Minor League Baseball. This internship offers deep exposure to partner activation, hospitality management, sales support, and game-day operations. The ideal candidate is organized, outgoing, professional, and proactive in meeting the needs of high-value clients.
Partner Relations & Activation
- Assist with the fulfillment and activation of partnership assets throughout the season.
- Support the creation, organization, and tracking of partner deliverables (signage, promotions, digital assets, in-game features).
- Help maintain accurate documentation, proof-of-performance, and activation recaps for partner accounts.
- Attend partner meetings as needed to observe, assist, and learn partner communication and servicing practices.
Suite & Premium Services
- Serve as a primary point of contact for suite holders and nightly suite rentals during games and events.
- Assist with pre-game setup, including suite staging, hospitality preparation, and coordinating catering needs with F&B staff.
- Greet and support suite guests throughout the event to ensure an exceptional experience.
- Respond promptly and professionally to suite requests, concerns, or last-minute needs.
Game Day Responsibilities
- Assist with all sponsorship and premium service needs on game days, including set-up, activation, hospitality, and post-game breakdown.
- Support in-game promotions and special initiatives tied to corporate partners.
- Help maintain a visible presence in suite levels, club areas, and corporate partner zones during games.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Assist with data entry, tracking systems, and CRM updates for partnerships and premium accounts.
- Support the corporate partnerships staff with proposals, presentations, and research.
- Help prepare season summaries, partner recaps, and renewal materials.
- Provide general office support to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Graduation dates of May or December 2025. We will consider a May 2026 grad, however you must be onsite by February 2026.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with executives and VIP guests.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Professional demeanor with excellent customer-service instincts. - Availability to work all home games, nights, weekends, and special events as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM systems a plus.
- Experience using graphics packages a plus.
- Previous hospitality, customer service, or sponsorship experience is preferred but not required.
Compensation
- This is an internship position. Compensation will include a monthly stipend of $700, academic credit, and team-provided housing at no cost to the intern.
