What are the responsibilities and job description for the Game Entertainment and Video/Media Production Internship position at Augusta GreenJackets?
The GreenJackets are looking to hire an intern for the 2026 Season in our In Game Entertainment and Video Production Department engaging in creativity, fan engagement, and media/video production. This is a tremendous opportunity for a December 2025 graduate, or a May 2025 graduate to get the experience you need, along with training to learn the inside of a sports business.
Game Entertainment
- Assist with planning, prepping, and executing theme nights, giveaways, skits, on-field contests, and special promotions.
- Support the in-game entertainment team with script organization, timing, and between-inning activations.
- Contribute creative ideas that elevate the in-game show and engage fans of all ages.
- Prepare various graphics and video content for partners and the GreenJackets for in-venue and/or digital activations.
- Participate in game-day setup and breakdown for video equipment and game day graphics.
- Engage in management and leadership of press box, video production and promotions staff.
Video Production & Media
- Assist with filming, editing, and producing content for in-game videoboards, social media, and promotional campaigns.
- Capture highlights, fan reactions, and bonus footage during games and events.
- Collaborate with marketing and entertainment teams to develop engaging visual content.
- Assist in managing video archives and maintaining organized digital assets.
Qualifications
- Graduated May/December 2025 with a degree in marketing, communications, film/video production, sports management, or a related field. Should you be graduating in May of 2026, this role requires you are on site by February 2026.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with graphic design preferred (Adobe Photoshop, Canva or similar).
- Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere or similar) is preferred.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during the season.
- Comfortable interacting with the public and being part of a high-energy entertainment environment.
The GreenJackets will pay 100% for your housing in this role, we have special intern housing for you and other interns, and we cover all your expenses. Further, we provide you with a monthly stipend of $700 for your other expenses.
