Job Purpose:
Join our Human Resources team and help support key projects through January! As an HR Assistant, you’ll play an important role in keeping our team organized, assisting with recruiting, onboarding, and benefits coordination during a busy season. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on HR experience in a healthcare setting while contributing to a mission-driven organization that values compassion, respect, community, and accountability.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide administrative support for HR projects, organizing documents and maintaining accurate files.
- Assist with recruiting activities such as scheduling and conducting phone interviews and coordinating applicant communication.
- Support onboarding tasks including new hire packets, orientation preparation, and follow-up documentation.
- Assist with benefits administration during open enrollment, including communication, data entry, and employee support.
- Help maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with the HR team to support ongoing initiatives and department goals.
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; HR coursework or related experience preferred.
- Previous experience in administrative or HR support roles is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning new systems.
- Friendly, flexible, and team-oriented attitude.
When You’ll Work:
- Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.
- Flexible scheduling available through January.
