Job Overview
We are currently hiring multiple Electronic / Mechanical Assembly Technicians for our client. Several positions are available across different shifts, offering flexibility for qualified candidates.
This role involves assembling mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and sheet metal enclosures while working from assembly prints, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Candidates should be comfortable performing complex assembly operations requiring strong attention to detail, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble drawers, chassis, enclosures, racks, and related components
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions
- Perform hand soldering, wire harnessing, and cable assembly
- Conduct routine go/no-go testing of circuits, components, and mechanical assemblies
- Set up and operate test devices using hand tools or automated methods
- Document test results and maintain production records/logs
- Troubleshoot and perform repair work as needed
- Follow established production processes and quality standards
- Maintain safe work practices, including ESD procedures
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with IPC-610 standards
- Experience in circuit board assembly and SMT machine operations
- Knowledge of electronic component placement and polarity
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Experience using hand tools and testing equipment
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
