What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Operations Associate position at Atlas Search?
Treasury Operations Associate
Location: New York City (Full-time, In-office)
Compensation: Flexible (Base Equity)
The Opportunity:
This is a high-impact Treasury Operations Associate role at a fast-growing, AI-driven fund administration platform supporting $10B in assets. You’ll own critical money movement workflows — including capital calls, distributions, and wire transfers — serving as the control layer for some of the most sophisticated investment firms.
This is not a traditional back-office role. You’ll sit at the intersection of treasury, fund accounting, and product, helping to modernize and automate workflows that have historically been manual and error-prone. You’ll partner closely with engineering to build scalable systems while ensuring precision across all cash movements.
Strong fit for candidates with treasury, fund admin, or banking operations experience looking to move into a more dynamic, systems-focused environment with real ownership and visibility.
What You’ll Do:
- Own and execute end-to-end money movement workflows (capital calls, distributions, investment wires, bill payments, intercompany transactions, and management fees)
- Serve as the operational control layer — identifying and resolving errors before they reach clients
- Perform daily cash reconciliations and maintain accurate, real-time records
- Partner with engineering to document, streamline, and automate treasury processes
- Build and refine approval workflows, transitioning from manual to structured, auditable systems
- Support fund accounting leadership on client escalations and time-sensitive requests
- Identify inefficiencies, analyze root causes, and drive process improvements
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- 1–6 years of experience in treasury operations, fund administration, banking operations, or investment operations
- Hands-on experience with wire transfers and capital call/distribution workflows
- Strong attention to detail with a track record of accuracy in high-stakes environments
- Ability to manage multiple workflows under tight deadlines
- Interest in automation, systems, and process improvement
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
Why This Role:
- Own high-stakes workflows with zero-error tolerance and real client impact
- Move beyond traditional operations into systems, automation, and product exposure
- Join a rapidly scaling, AI-native platform transforming fund operations
- Work closely with top-tier investment firms and internal leadership
- Clear path to increased responsibility as the platform and team grow
Salary : $140,000 - $200,000
