Physical Therapist (PT) – Full-Time & Part-Time

Pay Rate: $45–$50/hour

About the Opportunity
A skilled nursing facility in Brooklyn, NY is seeking Physical Therapists for both full-time and part-time contract positions. Full-time candidates will work Monday – Friday days, while part-time candidates are needed to cover Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM or full day).
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat residents with physical rehabilitation needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs
- Work toward restoring residents' mobility, strength, and day-to-day functionality
- Document resident progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate residents and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Active New York State PT license/registration required
- BLS certification required
Schedule Details
- Full-Time: Monday – Friday, Days
- Part-Time: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM or full day)
