Position Summary
Dispatchers will work in a fast-paced busy environment, routing work orders to drivers to meet customer needs while focusing on maintaining safety, productivity and profitability.
Work Environment and Expectations
- This is a full time in office hourly position.
- Schedule is to be determined. Operating hours are Monday – Friday from 6am-6pm.
- Starting pay is $22.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedules drivers and routes to meet customer needs and maximize production.
- Assist in communication with contracted City officials
- Prepare route sheets, work orders and maps for drivers.
- Monitor two-way radio and check-in drivers to verify work is complete and accurate.
- Enter tickets/data and recording of statistics and driver performance.
- Answer and Process Incoming Customer Calls and Customer Service Overflow.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Two years of administrative, clerk or other related experience.
- Completion of High School or Equivalent.
- Ability to manage information quickly and give clear directions using two-way radios.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Very familiar with greater Sacramento highways, roads and geography.
- Ability to work well under pressure, act independently, and prioritize & manage multiple projects in fast paced environment.
