A well-established small animal hospital in Tyler, TX is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team.
This freestanding practice has been a trusted part of the Tyler community for over 20 years, known for high-quality small animal care and a strong focus on client relationships. The caseload here is steady and well established, giving you the ability to practice thoughtful, unrushed medicine alongside a genuinely supportive team.
As a 2-doctor hospital, you will work closely with an experienced colleague and a dependable support staff, including skilled technicians and dedicated client service representatives. The clinic sees a broad mix of wellness, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, urgent care, and preventive care cases, and is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house diagnostics, laser therapy, and modern surgical and dental equipment to support high-quality medicine.
The practice is closed on weekends, offering a consistent and predictable 4 day work week. You will also have full clinical autonomy to practice medicine your way, backed by strong operational and administrative support.
Compensation is competitive and transparent (detailed below), including a strong base salary plus quarterly production incentives with no negative accrual, a sign-on bonus, as well as additional annual bonus opportunities. You will also receive a generous CE allowance, PTO, paid licenses and dues, relocation assistance, and a 401(k) with company match.

About You:
- DVM or VMD (or equivalent) from an AVMA accredited university
- Hold or be eligible for a Veterinary State License in Texas
- Confident in small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery
- Strong communicator who values long-term client relationships
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Able to lift 40 pounds
