Associate Veterinarian

We are working on behalf of a well-established, independently owned small animal practice in Shelburne Falls, MA that is looking to welcome an experienced Associate Veterinarian to its team.

This is a genuinely non-corporate clinic with decades of goodwill and a loyal, long standing client base, many of whom have trusted the practice for fifteen to twenty years or more. The role centers on classic dog and cat general practice, with a manageable caseload of roughly fifteen to twenty patients a day, thirty-minute appointments for new and sick visits, and a calm, low-stress environment that puts quality of care first. You would work from a comfortable one story hospital with a brand new digital X-ray unit, a therapeutic laser, in-house lab capability, and a full dentistry setup, supported by an experienced, cross-trained team who know the practice inside out. There is no emergency duty, with after hours cases referred to a dedicated ER a short drive away.

About You

• DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
• You hold, or are eligible for, licensure in Massachusetts
• Confident and independent in day-to-day small animal GP medicine and routine surgery
• Comfortable with bread-and-butter procedures such as spays, neuters, mass removals, and dentals
• You value a low-stress, non-corporate environment and a rural lifestyle
