What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Veterinarian position at Atlas Consultancy Group?
A privately owned small animal clinic in Sugar Land, TX is redefining what a veterinary career can look like!
Opened in 2024, this clinic was built around one simple idea: doctors do their best work when they are trusted to practice medicine their way. There is no corporate red tape here and no unnecessary restrictions on how you care for your patients. This is a genuinely friendly, supportive practice where every voice on the team is heard and celebrated, and where the reputation for high-quality, diagnostics-driven medicine and an exceptional client experience speaks for itself.
The facility is equipped to match that ambition, with top-tier anesthesia and a ventilator, dental radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy, a lift table, a Tonopen, and full in-house diagnostics. A visiting boarded surgeon handles complex surgical cases and a visiting ultrasonographer covers abdominal ultrasound and echocardiograms, so you are never left without support, whether or not surgery is part of your own skill set.
The clinic is looking for a strong diagnostician who takes pride in thorough workups, communicates beautifully with clients, and is comfortable managing a caseload independently. A surgical background is welcomed but not required.
What truly sets this opportunity apart is a genuine commitment to building a schedule around you, not the other way around. This is a clinic that says yes to real life. Have your daughter's soccer game you do not want to miss? No problem, you can leave early to be there. Want your weekends free for family time? No problem, weekends off are yours. Need to be there for a sick family member? No problem, the team rallies around you so you can be. Add in a genuine pathway to partnership and buy-in, and this is a rare chance to be rewarded financially and personally, in equal measure.
