About the Role
A growing engineering and construction organization is seeking a Project Manager to support its Mission Critical team, focusing on data centers and telecommunications facilities. This role is client-facing and responsible for managing projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment across scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
The Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with clients and contractors, and drive successful project execution across all phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors
- Manage all phases of project delivery, including planning, budgeting, execution, and closeout
- Coordinate with design teams, general contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Lead teams conducting technical studies and preparing reports
- Oversee design development, including conceptual plans, construction documents, and cost estimates
- Manage and track project scope, schedule, budget, and quality metrics
- Develop cost-saving strategies, including change orders and value engineering efforts
- Support proposal development, including scope definition, scheduling, and fee coordination
- Assist with client relationship management and ongoing communication
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7 years of relevant project management experience
- PMP certification preferred
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Teams)
- Strong understanding of regulatory and quality requirements
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
- Ability to mentor team members and drive project alignment with business goals
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 15–30% for site visits, meetings, and project support
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work on a computer and remain seated or standing for extended periods
Salary : $120 - $150
