Duties of the Production Worker/Forklift Operator:
- Complete the sit-down forklift certification process.
- Ensure the forklift is stored correctly, fueled, cleaned, maintained, and ready to operate daily.
- Safely and effectively operate the baler.
- Follow and update inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasks.
- Move inventory and materials to proper locations throughout the facility.
- Submit inventory records and logs at the close of the day.
- Follow instructions regarding daily tasks and job duties.
- Must become familiar with and adhere to all workplace safety rules and regulations.
- Be willing to perform tasks as required by management. Duties and responsibilities in this posting are not all-inclusive.
Requirements of the Production Worker/Forklift Operator:
- Experience operating a sit-down forklift or similar powered industrial trucks or heavy machinery.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work at a pace required to meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changes or modifications in the way work is done.
- Ability to work safely and effectively as a member of a team.
- Must be conscientious and pay attention to detail.
- Availability to work required shifts and hours.
- Steel-toed boots are required.
Pay, Schedule, and Benefits of the Production Worker/Forklift Operator:
- Monday - Friday
- 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Starting pay is $16.00 an hour
- Temp-to-Hire position
