Atlantic Staffing is accepting experienced HVAC Service Technician resumes for our well established client in the Raleigh, NC area.
This is a temp-to-hire position. Weekly pay while employed with ASC.
VALID NC DRIVER LICENSE REQUIRED WITH A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
** Applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug screening **
TYPICAL DUTIES OF A HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN:
- Install heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
- Demonstrate technical competency and complete jobs efficiently and accurately while exceeding customer expectations.
- Complete all required documentation on services, explain guarantees/warranties, and collect, record, and deliver fees to the office.
- Build trust with customers to promote referrals and repeat business.
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck.
KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE OF A HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing residential and light commercial Heating and Air Conditioning Systems, including Heat Pumps, Gas Furnaces, Mini-Splits, dual fuel systems, and zone systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent *required
- Valid NC driver's license with a clean driving record *required
- Ability to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed *required
- EPA certification *required
- NATE certification
- Proven track record in HVAC heating and cooling systems
- Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, and people skills
- Comfortable installing round and rectangular duct
- Proficient in installing gas and refrigeration pipe
- Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas, and electric furnaces, heat pumps, troubleshooting and installing all residential and light commercial systems
- Able to measure duct work and install equipment accessories
- Ability to supervise entry-level employees
- Exceptional safety knowledge of tools and surroundings (OSHA certifications are a plus!)
- Understand and apply all relevant codes
PAY RANGE OF A HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN:
$25.00 - $35.00
SHIFT FOR THE HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN:
Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
