Steward/Dishwasher – Full time
Steward/Dishwasher – Full time
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking full-time Steward/Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This is a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe culinary environment. Full-time team members typically work around 40 hours per week and must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the mission and core values of the Atlanta Athletic Club
- Operate and maintain an industrial dishwasher
- Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment as needed
- Sweep and mop floors in kitchen and employee dining areas
- Remove and dispose of kitchen and food service waste
- Support general back-of-house cleaning and organization
- Occasionally assist with restroom cleaning
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Chef
Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Ability to stand and bend for extended periods
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and maneuver large pots, pans, and containers
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Must have reliable transportation - no public transit available
- Hours for this position are generally 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm but may vary based on the needs of the Club
