Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) – Adult ED
Position Type: Full-Time (Travel/Contract)

Position Overview

This fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED) sees over 100,000 patient visits annually and serves a diverse, high-acuity population. As an Emergency RN, you will deliver critical care, assist with boarder patients, and work alongside top-tier medical professionals in a high-stakes environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Triage and assess patients in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies
- Assist with boarding patients awaiting transfer or admission
- Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions and initiate emergency interventions
- Accurately document patient information and care provided
Job Requirements
- Active RN License (New York State only)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
- Previous travel nursing experience in the ER setting required
- Telemetry experience required
Required Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association ONLY
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association ONLY
