MRI Technologist – Traveler
Location: Athena Medtech
Department: MRI
Shift Schedule:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Every other Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Total Hours: 40 hours every two weeks

Position Summary
Athena Medtech is seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team on a traveler basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining operational standards in the MRI department.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately position patients and select appropriate anatomic and technical parameters to obtain optimal MRI images.
- Conduct patient pre-screening, provide scheduling information, and educate patients about procedures.
- Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images to PACS, and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Adhere to established radiation safety protocols and procedural guidelines.
- Ensure all images submitted to PACS meet quality standards, including correct lead markers and patient history.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance of MRI equipment; report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Qualifications
- ARRT (MR) certification preferred or equivalent credentials.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in MRI imaging.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: $2,407.20 - $2,411.20 per week
