Position Summary:

We are currently recruiting a Planner Administrative Assistant. This three-month, temp-to-hire position pays $21.00 an hour and is in San Fernando, CA.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Aid the planning process by confirming and scheduling orders and assisting with various planning assignments.
  • Generate ingredient pull lists, labels, filling instructions, and maintain packaging inventory.
  • Submit purchase requisitions and process receiving and Transfer Order paperwork.
  • Assist with production scheduling and monitor packaging materials and labels.
  • Communicate with customer service to confirm open orders.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions to obtain packaging and raw materials.
  • Assist with inventory, including posting receipts, transfer orders, performing cycle counts, and creating cycle count reports.
  • Coordinate production scheduling with production supervisors as needed.
  • Generate pull sheets for next-day production.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Familiarity with production and inventory procedures.
  • Strong mathematical calculation abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently; must be self-motivated.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods, and procedures required by the position.

Education And Experience:

  • High School diploma, required.
  • Experience with administrative, clerical, or planning duties preferred; prior experience working with inventory or production processes highly desired.?

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Standard hours of work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, however evening and weekend hours may be required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Travel may be required.
