We are currently recruiting for a Licensing Aide II. This serves as the first point of contact for visitors and applicants at the licensing office. This role supports the licensing team by performing clerical and customer service duties related to registration renewals, documentation processing, and general inquiries. This full-time position pays $26.0/hr, and is located in Warwick, RI.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Greet and assist walk-in customers at the front desk.
- Answer questions regarding licensing procedures, registration renewals, and general office inquiries.
- Process registration renewals and verify documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- File, organize, and maintain records.
- Provide support with data entry and updating licensing databases.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Speak fluent Spanish (highly preferred).
- Proficient in Portuguese.
- Speak and write English
- Be comfortable talking to the many walk-ins we have at the office
- Be comfortable speaking by telephone
- Have at least basic computer skills
- Be comfortable working in a “Team” environment
- Ability to multitask and be flexible.
- Highly motivated.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field, preferred.
- 2 years of experience as a Licensing Aide, or related field.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Working hours M-F, 8:30am-4:00pm.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
