Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Provide general administrative support to enforcement staff and leadership.
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond to emails, and direct inquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for both physical and electronic records.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, notices, and other departmental documents.
- Enter, update, and track information in internal databases and systems.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate calendars for department staff.
- Assist with processing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Support document preparation related to collections, compliance, and enforcement activities.
- Monitor office supplies and submit requests for replenishment as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality when handling sensitive taxpayer or financial information.
- Assist with special projects and additional administrative tasks as assigned.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently; must be self-motivated.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods, and procedures required by the position.
- Strong data entry and recordkeeping skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of administrative, clerical, or office support experience.
- Experience working in government, legal, tax, collections, or compliance environments preferred.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Standard hours of work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, however evening and weekend hours will be required.
- Travel may be required.
