We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join a growing accounting team within an innovative life sciences organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, supporting the monthly close process, and partnering cross-functionally to strengthen financial reporting, internal controls, and business processes.

We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join a growing accounting team within an innovative life sciences organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, supporting the monthly close process, and partnering cross-functionally to strengthen financial reporting, internal controls, and business processes.
Responsibilities
- Review customer contracts and determine revenue recognition under ASC 606.
- Prepare revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, deferred revenue, rebates, discounts, returns, and other adjustments.
- Support monthly and quarterly close activities and financial reporting.
- Analyze account variances and maintain revenue schedules and supporting documentation.
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Legal, Customer Service, and FP&A on revenue-related accounting matters.
- Assist with SEC reporting, external audits, SOX compliance, and internal controls.
- Research technical accounting issues, support new accounting standards, and recommend process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or a publicly traded company.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 Revenue Recognition.
- Experience with monthly and quarterly financial close processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and excellent analytical and communication abilities.
- Experience in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, consumer health, or manufacturing.
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- SOX compliance, SEC reporting, and inventory/distributor revenue model experience are a plus.
