Duties
- Program, set up, and operate Swiss CNC machines and multi-axis machining equipment
- Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs using GibbsCAM and ESPRIT software
- Perform machine setups, tool changes, offsets, and first-run validations
- Troubleshoot machining issues, tooling problems, and production inefficiencies
- Analyze machining performance, tooling strategies, and process improvements (feeds/speeds)
- Support new job launches, first article builds, and production readiness
- Transition stable jobs to operators while maintaining technical oversight
- Train and mentor operators and setup personnel on machining processes
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams on continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulated manufacturing requirements
- Support operations across both manufacturing facilities as needed
- 7 years of CNC programming experience in a precision manufacturing environment
- Strong hands-on Swiss machining experience required
- Experience programming, setting up, and operating multi-axis CNC equipment
- Strong understanding of tooling, machining strategies, and process optimization
- Proficiency with GibbsCAM and/or ESPRIT required
- Ability to troubleshoot complex machining and production issues independently
- Experience mentoring or training operators preferred
- Medical device or other regulated manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills
