We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to oversee the bi-weekly payroll process, ensuring accurate payment processing, expenses, and deductions management. You will assist in payroll tax processing, ensuring timely payments of all federal, state, local, and provincial taxes, including CPP, EI, and Workers’ Compensation.

Responsibilities
- Oversee bi-weekly payroll and ensure accurate payment processing.
- Manage expenses and deductions within the payroll system.
- Upload records and process retroactive increases.
- Handle payroll calculations across various pay cycles.
- Process garnishments effectively.
- Assist in end-of-month payroll tax processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments of all federal, state, local, and provincial withholding and unemployment taxes.
- Assist with internal and external payroll tax audits.
- Contribute to project-based work during implementation projects and software updates, including running mock payrolls and creating reports.
- 5 years of payroll experience.
- Proficiency in mid-large ERP systems.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- CPP or FCP certification preferred.
