Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Planner to support production, supply, and demand planning activities within a fast-paced operational environment. This role is responsible for ensuring materials, inventory, and production schedules are aligned with business requirements to maintain efficient operations and meet customer demand

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute production, supply, and demand plans to support business objectives.
• Utilize ERP systems (SAP preferred) to manage planning data, inventory levels, and production schedules.
• Monitor inventory and collaborate with purchasing and operations teams to ensure material availability.
• Review demand forecasts and adjust production or supply plans to align with changing business needs.
• Track order status, identify potential delays, and proactively resolve supply chain disruptions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Operations to ensure alignment on priorities and production requirements.
• Maintain accurate planning records, reports, and scheduling data.
• Analyze planning and inventory metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within planning and supply chain operations.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in planning, production scheduling, supply chain, inventory management, or a related field.
• Experience working with ERP systems, with SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data tracking, reporting, and basic analysis.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced operational setting.
  
  

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
