Outside Sales, Account Development Representative

Hiring a Field Sales Representative for a recognized tech/logistics company!Job DescriptionThis is a great opportunity to work with a brand-new delivery program launching in the area. As a part of this role, you will be responsible for recruiting local businesses to join the partner program. You will collaborate with a Field Manager and other local contractors to visit prospective businesses, pitch the program opportunity, qualify the businesses, guide them through the application process, drive referrals through community organizations, and coordinate and execute recruitment events.ResponsibilitiesVisit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns (up to a two-hour driving distance).Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses to generate interest in applying.Qualify prospective businesses and guide them through the application process while managing the pipeline in Salesforce.Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch and learns and town hall meetings.Collaborate with the Field Manager to work with local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations.Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure data integrity and tracking.Essential SkillsAccount management or outside/field sales experience is preferredBusiness developmentCRM experience required, Salesforce preferred1 years in sales and/or customer service experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsExceptional customer service and communication skillsField sales experience is a plusPrior experience in a role that involved sales and/or negotiation with customers is advantageousProfessionalism and enthusiasm to work with othersHigh sense of urgency and attention to detailProblem-solving skills for applicants in the fieldTech-savvy with experience working with multiple systems and technologyAbility to travel up to a 4-hour round trip distance dailyWork EnvironmentThis role involves being on the road 4-5 days a week, with the option to work from home for the remainder of the time.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Wichita, KS.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.50 - $26.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
