Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful fulfillment of production work orders within the MRP system. This position involves the release of kit requests to inventory and the prioritization and expedition of subassemblies to support the integration timeline. The coordinator is responsible for clearing any blockers that prevent the completion of production orders, such as issue tickets, part shortages, and yield loss. This role demands collaboration in a cross-functional team environment, working closely with other functional groups to achieve company-wide goals.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill production work orders within the MRP system.
• Release kit requests to inventory.
• Support prioritization and expedite subassemblies to align with integration timelines.
• Clear blockers preventing production order completion, including issue tickets, part shortages, and yield loss.
• Work collaboratively as a strong team player with cross-functional teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Proficient in logistics management.
• Strong Excel skills, including IF statements and pivot tables.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middle River, MD.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
