Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflicts, providing timely and effective resolutions.
- Promote a positive work environment by encouraging open communication and addressing employee needs promptly and professionally.
- Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, coordinating and conducting interviews, and assisting in candidate selection.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires by coordinating orientations, ensuring completion of all required paperwork, and setting up necessary access, including badging.
- Assist with performance management processes by collaborating with HR leadership and supervisors on goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
- Provide guidance to supervisors and employees on addressing performance issues and supporting performance improvement plans as directed by HR leadership.
- Identify training needs in partnership with HR leadership and coordinate the delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Support the creation and implementation of career development plans and succession planning initiatives under the direction of HR leadership.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Assist HR leadership with salary benchmarking and compensation analysis to help maintain competitive pay practices.
- Support the development, communication, and implementation of HR policies and procedures as directed by HR leadership.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations by maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
- Collaborate on initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, including organizing events, surveys, and culture-building programs.
- Provide HR administrative support, including data entry, document management, and preparation of HR reports as needed.
- Assist with HR support activities such as timekeeping, payroll-related data entry, and coordination with payroll functions to help ensure accurate and timely pay.
- Utilize multiple software systems and HR tools to manage employee information, track HR processes, and support daily HR operations.
- Deliver responsive and professional customer service to employees, supervisors, and internal stakeholders on HR-related matters.
- 1–2 years of human resources experience.
- Experience providing HR support in areas such as employee relations, onboarding, timekeeping, and payroll support.
- Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.
- Strong administrative support skills, including organizing information, managing documents, and handling multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated customer service skills when working with employees and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with HR administration, including benefits, onboarding, or related HR processes.
- Ability to work effectively in multiple software systems and HR tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage timekeeping and support payroll-related processes with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred and helps in understanding the needs of a production-oriented workforce.
- Experience coordinating recruiting activities such as posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and supporting candidate communications.
- Familiarity with badging processes, onboarding logistics, and access management for new hires.
- Experience supporting employee engagement initiatives, such as events, surveys, and recognition programs.
- Comfort working closely with HR leadership and supervisors on performance management, training, and policy implementation.
