- Procure raw materials and develop a strong supplier base
- Issue rolling schedules and prioritize deliveries
- Consolidate requirements and determine best purchasing methods (spot orders, contracts, blanket orders)
- Maintain close contact with suppliers and resolve issues promptly
- Prepare and analyze supplier performance data
- Advise management on market conditions and supplier activity
- Support ISO 9000 processes and vendor certification
- Manage inventory levels and address slow-moving or obsolete stock
- Provide purchasing support for maintenance and expense items
- Attend production meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Domestic and occasional international travel required
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of purchasing, procurement, or buying experience
- 3 years of ERP/MRP systems experience (preferably SAP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
