The Buyer is responsible for sourcing raw materials, components, and equipment at the best total cost while ensuring quality and on-time delivery. Responsibilities
This is an office-based role in an open office setting at an Auto Development Center, requiring regular collaboration with internal teams and suppliers. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility. Occasional travel and overtime may be required.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Procure materials and equipment to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to support requirements
- Act as liaison between suppliers and internal teams
- Manage RFQs, analyze quotes, and negotiate pricing
- Evaluate supplier performance and drive cost reduction initiatives
- Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and track open orders
- Support new product development and ensure timeline adherence
- Resolve supplier quality issues and coordinate deliveries
- 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience (manufacturing or automotive preferred)
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis skills
- Experience with RFQs, POs, and technical requirements
- SAP proficiency required; strong Microsoft Office skills
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Industry experience in Power Sports or automotive preferred
- Strong communication and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours
