Job Description

Responsibilities
- Enter accurate information in payables systems.
- Make invoice adjustments for sales tax and review account coding.
- Apply vendor credits and ensure appropriate approvals.
- Research check status, print and mail paper checks, and manage check cancellations.
- Prepare general ledger journal entries.
- Respond to internal and external customers regarding disbursements and payment status.
- Contact vendors to resolve payment discrepancies and provide payment history to customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in data entry and clerical tasks.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and computer usage.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to perform order entry and filing tasks.
- Effective customer service and administrative support skills.
- Preferred: Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting.
- Required: 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
