(Job Description)

A fast-growing and exciting revolutionary company located in Everett, WA is currently hiring for an Accounts Payable Manager who has Tipalti and/or Ramp (Credit Card Processing) experience (Tipalti and/or Ramp experience is a must-have requirement for this opportunity and must be listed on the resume for consideration. This position will handle around 1,500 invoices processed monthly. This position will be 100% onsite in Everett, WA, and will require local candidates who can do the commute.

Pay - $38/hr. - $45/hr. (Depending on relevant qualifications, tenure, industry, etc.)

Location - Everett, WA (100% Onsite)

Schedule – Standard Morning Shift Monday - Friday (40 Hours a Week)

Contract Duration – 6 Months Contract To Hire Guaranteed

(Summary Of Key Responsibilities)

(Vendor Payments)

  • Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) process, which includes:
    • Timely and accurate invoice processing, with the requirement to process invoices as needed.
    • Cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Receiving.
    • Identification and documentation of root causes of payment delays & payment errors as well as implementation of corrective actions, monitoring and reporting results to the Controller and/or CFO.
    • Maintaining positive relationships with vendors.
    • Managing, mentoring, and developing a team of AP specialists.
    • Ownership of applications used in the vendor payment process.
    • Identification and implementation of process improvements and system enhancements.
(Corporate Credit Cards)

  • Manage the corporate credit card program, including:
    • Development and implementation of an enforceable credit card policy.
    • New card setup, fraud monitoring, and monthly statement review and posting.
(Travel & Expense Management)

  • Manage the travel & expense program, including the:
  • Development and implementation of an enforceable travel & expense policy.
  • Administration and optimization of Ramp for travel and expense reporting, including user setup, report approvals, and payment execution.

(Record to Report)

  • General ledger accounting tasks, including but not limited to the preparation and/or review of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for accounts payable, certain accruals, and other relevant accounts.
  • Development and maintenance of KPIs and dashboards to efficiently monitor the AP process & provide AP reports to the Controller and CFO.

(Spent Management)

  • Champion spend management initiatives as well as monitor and report out on spend.
  • Work alongside FP&A and the Controller to develop and maintain the cash forecast.

(Compliance)

  • Assistance with external financial statement audits as the primary point of contact for AP.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including ownership of the annual 1099 filings.
  • Implementation and enforcement of internal controls.

(Qualification Requirements)

  • Must have Tapalti and/or Ramp (Credit Card Processing) experience and listed on resume.
  • 8 years of progressive experience in the end-to-end accounts payable process.
  • 3 years of experience in a management role.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
  • Proven experience in a high-growth, technology-driven environment.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
