Job Description
A large, well-established construction company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team in West Springfield, MA. This is a straightforward AP role focused heavily on data entry and invoice processing, supporting multiple entities and client accounts.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and process a high volume of vendor invoices in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update financial records with precision and consistency.
- Respond to inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to invoices and payments.
- Manage AP functions across several business units and client names.
- Ensure all documentation is properly filed and organized for audits and reporting.
- Assist in preparing checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
- Input and maintain vendor information in the accounting system.
- 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Experience working with multiple entities or client accounts is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- AP experience is a must.
- Knowledge in invoicing, purchase orders, and reconciliation.
