Accounting Associate

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Associate to join our team. This role involves processing payroll, managing financial transactions, and ensuring accurate documentation of all financial records.

Responsibilities

• Process non-union hourly and salary pay for over 70 employees accurately and in a timely manner.
• Handle credit and ACH transactions efficiently.
• Balance books and perform journal entries.
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and payroll records.
• Process ACH transactions for payroll and vendor payments.
• Assist with other month-end closing duties as needed.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Perform 3 Way Match.
• Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee payroll information.
• Assist with benefit enrollment for new employees and manage any claims that arise.
  
  

Essential Skills

• 1 years of bookkeeping and/or accounting experience, preferably with a warehousing/manufacturing background.
• Experience with payroll processing and journal entries.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel, particularly with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
• Experience with ERP systems.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree preferred with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Entry Level candidates encouraged to apply

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sewickley, PA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.03 - $28.85/hr.
