Assouline is seeking a Designer, Digital Marketing to join our creative team. In this role, you will bring the Assouline visual universe to life across every dimension of the brand: digital campaigns, editorial content, retail windows, and visual merchandising. This is a 360-degree design position, conceived for a designer who moves fluently between screen and space, between the pixel and the physical. You will be responsible for shaping the aesthetic of the house across all marketing touchpoints, ensuring that every channel, whether digital or experiential, reflects the elegance and cultural ambition of Assouline.

Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
Conceive and produce campaign creative across still, video, animation, and short-form formats for social media, email, and web channels; design compelling landing pages, editorial layouts, and digital assets that reflect the Assouline aesthetic; develop social content in collaboration with the content and copywriting team, including reels, stories, and animated formats; create and maintain sales pitch decks and presentation materials; design infographics and other visual communications that translate complex stories into elegant imagery; assist with video editing and post-production as needed.
Space Design: Windows and Visual Merchandising
Design and art-direct retail window installations for Assouline boutiques globally, translating seasonal campaigns and editorial themes into immersive physical environments; develop visual merchandising concepts and guidelines that ensure a consistent, elevated in-store experience; create production-ready design packages including layouts, prop direction, and typographic treatments for window builds; collaborate with retail and operations teams to adapt concepts to specific store formats and footprints; maintain a seasonal VM calendar aligned with the global marketing plan.
Cross-Channel and Campaign
Plan and execute integrated campaigns across email, social, and physical retail, ensuring visual and narrative coherence at every point of discovery; manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept through final delivery, adapting assets across formats and markets; partner with marketing leadership to develop seasonal creative concepts that serve both the brand’s cultural story and its commercial objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, spatial design, or a related field;
- 4 or more years of design experience in a consumer-facing context, ideally within a luxury, fashion, or cultural brand;
- a portfolio that demonstrates fluency across both digital formats (social, email, web) and physical environments (windows, VM, retail installations);
- a refined eye for typography, color, composition, and spatial narrative;
- demonstrated ability to translate brand identity into coherent experiences across scale;
- proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and familiarity with motion and video tools;
- experience developing VM or window design with an understanding of production requirements and retail build constraints;
- strong organizational skills with the ability to manage concurrent projects across multiple areas and deadlines;
- a genuine interest in culture, art, publishing, and the world of collecting.
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of $85,000–$110,000 annually. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Salary Transparency Law.
