Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Tax or CPA designation preferred)
- Experience with multi-state sales and use tax compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SAP and tax software (e.g., Vertex, Alteryx) is a plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Nice-to-Have Skills
- CPA or CMI designation (or actively pursuing)
- Industry experience in foodservice, vending, or support services
- Familiarity with tax registration, renewal, and permit management
- Experience with reconciliation processes for tax-related accounts
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field
- Prior experience in sales and use tax compliance across multiple states
- Exposure to tax-specific software and financial reconciliation tools
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a corporate setting
