Job description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Greets and checks in patients
- Collects patient medical histories
- Takes vital signs (manual blood pressure, pulse, respirations)
- Draws blood for labs
- Processes urine drug screens and urine pregnancy tests
- Contacts pharmacies and outside providers to request medical records and medication lists.
- Coordinates with insurance companies to complete medication prior authorization requests
- Administers injections
Minimum Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Registered or certified medical assistant
- Basic PC skills including experience using Microsoft Office
Medical specialties:Addiction Medicine
Ability to commute/relocate:St. Louis, MO 63103: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
License/Certification:Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
Salary : $19 - $24
