As a Precision CNC Lathe Technician, you will set up and run CNC lathes to deliver high-accuracy parts that meet rigorous specifications. This is a direct hire role with benefits Day 1, competitive hourly pay, a 10% shift differential, and a 5% annual bonus.
About the Role
- Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components.
- Interpret prints and apply GD&T to achieve the required tolerances.
- Use micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and depth gauges to verify quality.
- Monitor production, adjust offsets and tooling to maintain standards.
- Perform routine maintenance; assist with minor repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized workstation.
- Partner with the team to meet quality and output goals.
Must-Have Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years of machining experience in manufacturing or repair settings.
- Proven CNC lathe setup and operation skills.
- Comfort reading technical drawings and geometric tolerances.
- Hands-on with precision measuring instruments.
- Reliable transportation to Woodridge, IL and ability to work 2nd shift.
Preferred
- CNC programming exposure (preferred but not required).
- Manual machining experience.
- Technical training or machining certification.
- Background in a large manufacturing/repair shop.
