$1,000 sign-on bonus awarded after 6 months of employment.
A day in your role
You begin by opening Mastercam, importing a SolidWorks model, and mapping out your strategy. You write and adjust CNC G&M code or use conversational programming to fine-tune your lathe. With the setup complete, you run the first piece and verify dimensions with micrometers and gauges right at the machine. You document findings on inspection reports and the job traveler, check E-drawings for potential issues, and pull any additional details from MICROSOFT SHAREPOINT.
As production runs, you deburr, polish, and perform pre-finishing operations to meet drawing requirements or CREW’s common shop tolerance. You straighten rolls and shafts with a torch or hydraulic press when needed, rustproof, wrap, and crate finished parts, and make sure every surface is protected. Between jobs, you save your CNC programs with supporting documentation, maintain organized files, return blueprints to the print rack, and log your time in Job-Boss Workstation Driver. You complete daily maintenance sheets, keep the area clean, and follow standard CREW shop practices and ISO work instructions—then leave clear written instructions for the next shift.
