Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to residents, assist with treatment plans, and promote functional independence.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist to improve mobility, strength, and coordination.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other activities based on resident needs.
- Monitor and document progress, reporting any changes to the Physical Therapist.
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on exercises and safety techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive resident care.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
