Aspire Senior Living Moberly is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team! As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our Long-Term Care community, providing a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents.
Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Conduct regular inspections of the community to identify and address any maintenance issues
- Assist with moving and arranging furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to complete projects and tasks in a timely manner
- At least 1 year of experience or equivalent education and training
- Preferred experience in a long-term care/assisted living/memory care setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (must be able to travel to and from work)
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures
