- Create material cut list for saw operations.
- Read and comprehend prints.
- Order raw material and commercial components.
- Create work orders for processes (Saw, Weld, Machine, etc)
- Analyze CAD data (CATIA, IGS, STP, DXF, etc)
- Track material/component delivery status
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of progressive responsibility in operations/manufacturing.
- Experience demonstrating problem solving abilities and resourcefulness.
- Highly proficient computer skills
- CATIA/CAD experience and/or training
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to interpret blueprints
- Basic understanding of standard build principles and practices
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing practices including welding, machining, bonding and fastening.
- Familiar with manufacturing shop and shop environment and able to communicate and work with a direct work force at all levels.
- Basic understanding of GD&T
- A demonstrated capability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Excellent planning / organizational skills
- Self-starter and highly motivated

- While performing the duties of this job, employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes and airborne particles
- The employee may be exposed to vibration
- The employee is occasionally exposed to caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- May be required to travel to other site locations during the work day
- May be required to work weekends to meet department and business demands
- Work with safe manufacturing processes and understand that eyewear is mandatory in the manufacturing area.
