Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Junior Real Estate Paralegal for a reputable law firm in Miami, Florida. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced real estate attorneys on a variety of commercial and residential real estate transactions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of real estate paralegal experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with commercial and residential real estate transactions from inception through closing.
- Prepare, review, and organize contracts, closing documents, leases, and related transaction materials.
- Coordinate and track due diligence, including title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, lien searches, and corporate documents.
- Order and review title searches, estoppels, payoff statements, and other closing-related documents.
- Prepare and maintain transaction checklists and monitor critical deadlines.
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, brokers, and opposing counsel throughout the transaction process.
- Assist with entity formations and the preparation and maintenance of corporate records.
- Manage post-closing activities, including document recording and closing binders.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files.
- Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal.
- Experience handling commercial real estate transactions preferred.
- Knowledge of title and survey review, due diligence, and closing procedures.
- Experience with loan documentation and real estate financing transactions is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Paralegal certificate preferred but not required.
