Trust & Estate Planning Paralegal

Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a skilled Estate Planning Paralegal on behalf of a well-established South Florida law firm. This is an exceptional opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional to join a dynamic team handling sophisticated estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, excellent client communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality legal support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft and prepare estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives under attorney supervision

• Assist with trust administration matters, including asset inventories, accountings, and beneficiary communications

• Manage probate filings and coordinate with courts, financial institutions, and government agencies

• Conduct legal research on estate, trust, and probate law as directed

• Maintain and organize client files, deadlines, and case management systems

• Communicate professionally with clients, beneficiaries, and third parties

• Prepare and file documents with the probate court and other agencies

• Support attorneys with client meetings, hearings, and closings

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience in estate planning, trusts, and/or probate

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred

• Proficiency in legal research tools and estate planning software

• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Florida Bar registered paralegal designation is a plus
