Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of commercial litigation experience, with a strong background handling complex business disputes from inception through trial. This attorney should be confident managing cases independently while collaborating with senior attorneys on sophisticated litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a diverse caseload of complex commercial litigation matters

Handle all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and trial preparation

Draft and argue substantive motions in state and federal court

Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts

Provide strategic legal counsel and regular case updates to clients

Collaborate with partners on case strategy and trial preparation

Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

5 years of commercial litigation experience

Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar

Strong written and oral advocacy skills

Experience handling complex commercial/business disputes

Ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision
