Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a Land Use Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our client's growing practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of zoning and land use matters, including site plan approvals, variances, special exceptions, rezonings, and comprehensive plan amendments. Candidate should possess strong drafting, research, and advocacy skills, as well experience appearing before local boards and municipal bodies. The ability to read and interpret architectural and site plans is required. Familiarity with South Florida jurisdictions is essential, and experience with historic preservation and environmental issues in the land use zoning context, is preferred. Applicants must be admitted to practice in Florida and demonstrate excellent academic credentials and communication skills. Job Requirements: 3 to 5 years of experience JD from an ABA Accredited Law School Must be licensed to practice law in Florida The candidate must reside in the Miami area at or prior to the time of hire. We believe that there is significant value in working together in person and will expect the candidate to work in the office at least three business days per week.
